Quite confounded as to why so many friends of mine would greet me an early valentine's day when I didn't even get a freaking greeting on my birthday, christmas and new year..What were they thinking?What's so special with that day and all of a sudden they remember that I am still breathing...
..I don't give so much significance on Valentine's day..I only appreciate it because of the overflowing chocolates and sweets that could be had...Love and Romance isn't in the forefront of my mind, maybe because I managed to stay single for the past 21 years during Valentine's Day celebration...Yeah you might think,what a loser right???It doesn't matter, because you see, I discovered that you don't actually need a boyfriend to receive flowers and chocolates on that day...and what's more, if you stay single, you would get more scrumptious goodies...Notice, I didn't put so much emphasize on emotions, feelings and sentimentality...Let's face it, in reality Valentine's day is just one of those capitalist celebration; a time when girls expects guys to be generous with their pockets,a time when hotels and motels will have high occupancy.. and most of all, a time when decent girls can legitimately act as hookers...Amen to that...
I wish though that this guys could be my real date on V day...[in a million years right??]
